Received his first music lessons at the age of 6 including recorder & trumpet,drums. He studied classical Percussion at the Music University of Graz/Austria.Further on he studied Jazzvibraphone & Jazztheory at the Berklee Summercollege of Music in Perugia / Italy.1989 he became Principal Percussionist of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra.2000 composes the music to the ballet " Caravaggio" with Tunakan & Pulsinger for the Volksoper Wien.2004 premieres an original composition at the opera in Cairo „Dis-sonata Concordata" for 2 percussion players and 2 pianos with Ferhan & Ferzan Önder .2006 Austrian premiere of "marimbavibe" a piece for marimba/vibraphone & stringquartet composed by the Austrian free jazz trimpetplayer & composer legend Michael Mantler.2007 Project at the KAZ Bregenz with the Trio "Gaze“ feat.french vocalist Alice Daquet.In 2009 he gave a Percussion Masterclass at the“ Bunri University“ in Tokushima (Japan).
Premieres his "concerto for marimba & strings" as a composer as well as a soloist at the topkapi palace in istanbul turkey with a division of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra. Collaboration with the japanese Rock Band „Quruli“ .Tours with singer Lana Cencic aka „Lanais“ through Germany, Austria, Slovenia & Switzerland. Premieres his Composition "Der Schlag des Schmetterlingflügels" for the wiener kammerduo at the wiener musikverein/brahmssaal. Recordes "Descartes" with Paul Gulda for the vienna art orchestra Record called "European Visionaries".
